Large quiet master bedroom with access to both the lounge & living room (a
heavy pull down shade provides privacy from the lounge and a standard door
leads to the living room). Double bed, dresser, wardrobe and clock radio.
The second bedroom comprises a double bed in a trullo. Quiet & private with
wardrobe & trullo dressing room attached. There is a single day bed in the
living room as well.
Bathrooms
The property has one bathroom comprising of toilet, shower enclosure, wash
basin and bidet. There is also a washing machine washer and hairdryer.
Living Room
The
living room/dining room has a fireplace and seating for 5 people, and dining
table and chairs for 6 people. There is also a tv lounge with television,
dvd player and a large selection of dvd’s, a CD player with a selection of
cd’s and MP3 adapter to play your iPod through the system. There are
also board games & jigsaw puzzles, art supplies and plenty of books to read.
Kitchen
With
fridge, freezer, oven and 4 ring stove.
Outside
To the outside of the property is a patio area with 6 garden chairs, and
ample parking. There is a fruit orchard in addition to the pear & cherry
trees on the patio. Guests are welcome to help themselves to whatever they
find growing depending on the season. Apples, figs, persimmons &
strawberries are also among the selection.
Distances
The property is about a 10 minute drive to Martina Franca, a charming and
beautifully preserved ancient city that sits atop Monte San Martino. A
gateway to the Itria Valley, it overlooks the area peppered with some 15,000
trulli. The town is lively and beautiful - brimming with arts, culture,
boutiques, nightlife, restaurants and cafe's. There are produce markets,
specialty shops, supermarkets and a wonderful open street market held every
Wednesday. The Festival Della Valle D'itria - the famous music & arts fest
is held in late July/early August. The towns of Alberobello, Locorotondo &
Cisternino are also a 10-15 minute drive from the villa and it's about a 30
minute drive to either the Adriatic or Ionian coast. Being centrally located
in the Itria valley it is a perfect home base from which to explore the
region.
Additional Information
The cellular signal is very strong at the house and so there should be no
problems sending messages or receiving calls. There is no TV service but the
owners have provided a large and diverse selection of DVD's including lots
of children's titles and TV show series collections as well as great Italian
classic films and other movies. Well behaved pets are welcome with prior
notice. Smoking is allowed on the patio only. There are two fireplaces and
an ample wood supply for chilly nights. This property has the added
advantage of being served by mains water (no cisterna), therefore an
unending supply of drinkable water is ‘on tap’!
Cleaning & Linen
Towels and linen are
included and the property is cleaned once per week as standard. Additional
housekeeping service is available on request at a cost of 8 euro per hour,
which must be paid to the housekeeper at the time the work is done.

total holiday cost is payable within 2 weeks of booking being made, the
remaining 70% to be paid at least 14 days prior to holiday commencement. If
