The main bedroom has a traditional barrel-vaulted ceiling, double
bed, fitted wardrobe cupboards, dressing table and 2 sets of French
doors leading to the outside seating and pool area. The second
bedroom again has a traditional barrel-vaulted ceiling, double bed,
fitted wardrobe cupboards, dressing table and one set of French
doors leading outside to the garden. The third bedroom is a charming
twin or double bedroom with trullo coned ceiling and an archway
separating the sleeping and dressing areas. The dressing area has a
traditional fireplace and fitted cupboards.
Bathrooms
Adjacent to bedrooms 1 and 2 is a large family bathroom, which has
been designed using contemporary fixtures combined with natural
finishes. This includes double basins, a WC, bidet and a large
walk-in shower. The stylish polished cement bath offers views over
the garden through a large, low window. Situated across a passage
from bedroom 3, the second bathroom comprises an exceptionally
spacious polished cement shower/bath, a single basin and WC.
Living Rooms
This room boasts an original Puglian fireplace, conical trullo
ceiling, traditional niches and large built-in polished cement sofa
that can be converted into a single bed if required. It is connected
to both the kitchen and the hallway by original stone archways and
is equipped with flat screen television, DVD player and a music
system, which is compatible with MP3 players for guests to enjoy
their own music. Adjacent to the living room is a hallway/office
with a traditional trullo coned ceiling. This room has been designed
to offer optional workspace with a desk and chair. Broadband
internet access is available in both the living room and
hallway/office.
Kitchen
Large kitchen/dining room with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and French
doors on two sides leading to the garden and terrace. It is equipped
with a 5-ringed gas hob on a central island unit, stainless steel
electric oven and separate microwave, both integrated into the
original stone wall, a large retro fridge/freezer, integrated
washing machine and dishwasher and high-quality cooking utensils. A
large polished concrete dining table with wooden benches provides
ample dining space.
Cleaning & Linen
Towels and cotton bed linen are provided and will be changed once
per week on a Saturday. Guests are invited to launder the pool
towels as required. The property is cleaned twice per week, on
Saturday and Wednesday. Additional maid service can be arranged if
required, at an agreed price payable locally.
Outside
The outside sitting area
is a large shaded patio overlooking the pool and the view beyond
with deep, built-in cement seating, plump pillows and cool kilims -
the perfect place for rural poolside relaxation in a stunning and
tranquil setting. The outside eating area is ideally situated next
to the sitting area, and close enough for guests to enjoy their
aperitifs while keeping an eye on the barbecue. The dining area has
an original stone table with director’s chairs, whilst the kitchen
area has a sink, preparation bench and built-in barbecue.
The superb oasis-inspired 12m x 6m private chemical free swimming
pool has desert palms and cycads dotted around it and kilims
nonchalantly placed underfoot in the outside sitting area. The
property stands within its own enclosed grounds of 2.5 acres of
rolling olive groves and faces West down a valley to where the sun
sets spectacularly.
Distances
The property is located in the Itria valley between the towns of
Ostuni and Cisternino, both of which can be reached in a 10-minute
drive. The Baroque city of Martina Franca is just a little further
at 20 minutes, whilst the ‘trulli town’ of Alberobello is
approximately 30 minutes. Beaches on the Adriatic coastline can be
reached within 25 minutes. The airport at Brindisi is just 45
minutes away whilst Bari airport is 70 minutes.

Booking Notes
A deposit of 30% of the total holiday cost is payable
at the time of booking being made, the remaining 70% to be paid at least 56 days prior to holiday commencement. If booking is made

Damage Deposit
Prior to your holiday a deposit of £1000 will be requested against potential
damage caused to the property during your stay. This deposit will be
returned to you in full 14 days after your holiday should no deductions be
required.
