Master bedroom has a large metal bed covered with a patchwork quilt
and scattered cushions, bedside tables with lamps, wooden double
wardrobe, wood burning stove and double doors opening out to the
patio and pergola. The second bedroom has twin beds, which can of
course be pushed together to make a double. In the left alcove of
the living area is a single couch-bed which enables sleeping for a
fifth person if required. A cot and highchair are also provided for
children under 2 (please bring your own cot linen).
Bathrooms
The round wheelchair friendly bathroom with Travertine mosaic tiles
and marble counter tops is a recent addition to the original trulli.
(A plastic chair is available for the wet room style shower for the
less able).
Living Rooms
The living area has a television with DVD player, and a CD/cassette
player. The original stone floor has been restored here and
throughout the trulli.
Kitchen
The kitchen is in the right alcove off the living area and has a
dishwasher, fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave oven, kettle, toaster
etc.
Laundry Room
Around the corner of the property and accessed from outside, with a
washing machine and an extra fridge/freezer.
Cleaning & Linen
Towels and linen are
included and the property is cleaned once per week as standard.
Additional maid service is available on request at an agreed price
to be paid locally.
Outside
You arrive at the trulli via remote controlled gates and a short
'via bianca' driveway to park under an olive tree or the enormous
cypress tree, under which hang various hammocks, a promise of lazy
days to come. As you round the corner the view opens out to a large
stone patio to the front of the trulli, scattered with dining tables
and chairs, some of which are positioned under the rustic pergola
for long lazy lunches when the sun is high. The trulli is covered
with pots and vases tumbling with geraniums and bougainvilleas,
whilst a rose climbs around the arch of the doors of the master
bedroom. The 15metre long swimming pool is tiled in Venetian glass
tiles and surrounded by sun loungers, umbrellas, wooden decking and
Travertine stone patios. The shallow ‘conversation area’ in the
pool, with central umbrella, is perfect for lounging in on those hot
sunny days.
There is an outside shower in the area near the pool. Please note
that whilst
this is a private property with its own private pool, it does share
the same driveway as Trulli Stella which is located approx 200 yards
away.
Distances
The property is located in a quiet country lane just a short 5-10
minute drive from the ‘gastronomic town’ of Ceglie Messapica, famous
locally for its excellent selection of restaurants and pizzerias.
The Adriatic coast with its many fine beaches is less than a 20km
drive from the trulli.

Booking Notes
A deposit of 30% of the total holiday cost
is payable within 2 weeks of booking being made, the remaining 70% to be
paid at least 28 days prior to holiday commencement. If booking is made 28
days or less from holiday date the full holiday cost is payable immediately.
Electricity to the value of €50 is included in the above prices. Consumption
over this amount is charged according to a meter reading at €0.35 per unit –
payable locally to the caretaker on departure.
Prices include gas with the exception of winter months, ie 15/01/2009 to
18/04/2009 and 03/10/2009 to 17/04/2010 when gas central heating is metered.
Damage Deposit
A cash security deposit of 450 Euro is payable on arrival at the property.
This deposit will be returned to you in full at the end of your holiday
assuming no damages have occurred.
Changeover day
Flexible changeover days and arrival and departure times.
